Miami University’s Digital Innovation Senior Capstone Project provides students who major or minor in Interactive Media Studies the opportunity to work for a corporate/non-profit client to help develop a solution to a business problem. The problem ideally leverages design and design thinking, coding and development of digital projects, and digital and social marketing, product management, other strategic insights to find a solution.
HCDC client GeckoTek has signed on to be the winter semester client. GeckoTek is ramping up to launch a new innovative flexible 3D printing build surface and the Miami students will help with the website content, marketing strategy, KickStarter campaign, and more.
“The group of students from the Miami Digital Innovation Senior Capstone Project are very bright and motivated. The experience they bring from working with so many different companies is really valuable to a small startup. I enjoy working with them and look forward to what they can do,” says GeckoTek founder Brad Ruff.
