SoundingBoard is looking for companies to present at a late summer / early fall session of GCVA for this interactive pitch opportunity.  We are looking for 3 companies in the Greater Cincinnati marketplace who are seeking capital for their companies.  A GCVA / SoundingBoard selection committee will review all applications and will make the selections on  what companies will present.

Comments about SoundingBoard from a recent participant

"SoundingBoard was a great opportunity to share our business with a wide variety of business leaders in Cincinnati and receive direct, immediate feedback on our presentation.  I'm know the feedback will help us to better hone our message as we enter into our next round of fundraising efforts."

What is the SoundingBoard?
The "SoundingBoard" program provides entrepreneurs the opportunity to receive coaching from seasoned business assistance providers as they prepare their business/strategic plan. The entrepreneur then has the opportunity to present the plan to a panel of subject-matter experts who will provide feedback on the plan. The SoundingBoard subject-matter experts can include the following groups: angels, seed capital funds, venture capitalists, accountants, lawyers, intellectual property specialists, seasoned entrepreneurs, business assistance providers, management and marketing specialists, university entrepreneurship specialists and representatives from pillar companies. The entrepreneurs are given the opportunity to network with the panelists and audience after the presentations.

Each company presentation lasts 10 minutes, followed by 10 minutes of questions & answers. As part of each business plan review, SoundingBoard provides insight and guidance on the plan and pitch. Participants receive feedback and potential next steps from the SoundingBoard Panel and the audience.
