Hamilton County Development Company (HCDC) promotes the development and redevelopment of land in Hamilton County. Some of the best located sites in the region are found in the urban core and often have existing vacant buildings and/or perceived environmental contamination. HCDC’s Urban Land Assistance Program was established to help redevelop these sites. Hamilton County also has available “greenfield sites,” or land that has not yet been developed. The Greater Cincinnati Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) is charged with assisting the development of these sites. The HCDC staff administers both initiatives.
