The Economic Development Office is charged with the mission of promoting the economic welfare and improving the economic opportunities for the people of Hamilton County. To accomplish this the Office assists in the establishment or expansion of industrial, commercial or research facilities with the intent to (1) create and preserve employment opportunities for our residents; and (2) expand the tax base for the continual enhancement of the quality of life in Hamilton County. The Economic Development Office offers a number of programs to accomplish this goal, including tax incentive information and applications, contract services, land development, available properties in the County and comprehensive demographics and mapping data.
